The aim is for the student to be able to combine their programming skills in a larger project and practical application of programming in one game engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Control any type of character to navigate the environment. Chose which type of character you want to use, e.g. a first person, third person or top down<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interact with various objects in the world. For example open doors, move boxes, kick a ball.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interact with some type of UI. For example a start menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal of the game is to complete different tasks. In the video you can see three of those tasks. To determine if the task was completed, I used raycasts, for instance, on the pressure plate and the laser receiver.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>User Interface<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A simple UI that is only there to enhance the user experience.
